Editorial Policy

This page explains how ChronicSync's healthcare news and regulatory-update content is produced, reviewed, and corrected. It applies to content published under the News section of this site.

Original Summaries, Not Reproduced Announcements

ChronicSync writes original summaries of publicly available government and industry announcements. We do not copy or closely paraphrase source articles or official announcements — see our Sources Policy for how we select and cite sources.

Draft-First Workflow

Every news item — whether drafted by a member of our team or prepared with the help of an AI-assisted research and drafting tool — starts as an unpublished draft. A draft is never published automatically. An editor reviews the draft against its cited source, checks the regulatory status (Proposed, Final, Effective, or another applicable status), and confirms the summary before it is published.

AI Assistance

Some drafts may be prepared with the assistance of AI research and drafting tools. AI assistance is never treated as a substitute for editorial review or source verification — every published item has been reviewed by a person against its cited official source before it goes live.

Regulatory Status

A regulatory update is labeled Proposed, Final, Effective, Delayed, Withdrawn, or Superseded based on its current status as of the last review. A proposed CMS rule is never presented as though it were already in effect.

Corrections

If a material factual error is identified after publication, we correct the article and note the correction on the page. We do not silently remove or alter significant factual claims without disclosure.

Content on this site is provided for general informational purposes only and is not medical, legal, or billing advice. Always confirm current regulatory and billing requirements against the official source cited in each article.
